Vladimir Dmitriyevich Volkov, also known under his callsign "Wolfsbane", is a former paratrooper from Belsev's Red Army. Originally a cocky and enthusiastic soldier, frequently cracking jokes and raising morale among his comrades, his personality changed drastically after years of conflict. While still keeping his joking nature, he has since become jaded and much more grim.

Vladimir was dishonorably discharged after disobeying orders to save his commander, Nadezhda Viktorovna, from captivity. He struggled to keep jobs after the war ended, always wishing to return to combat, and would eventually go missing after his kids grew up. His current whereabouts and activities are unknown, but he is rumoured to have joined a private military company and taking parts in various conflicts across the world.

After he war he started a relationship with his former comrade, Olga. They would then have three kids: twin daughters, Autumn and Violet, as well as a son, Ivan, whom he raised as his successor.
