Language
The official and national language of Kitshon is Kitshonese (Japanese: 狐本語, Kitsunehon-go), which shares most of its grammar, vocabulary and phonetics with our world's Japanese language. For the sake of simplicity, the terms "Kitshonese" and "Japanese" will sometimes be used interchangably within the articles.
The country's name roughly translates as "homeland of the foxes".
Demographics
Kitshon's largest populations are Chasses (cats) and Eastern Lunares (foxes), most notable for their unusual eye and hair colours.
