Tatyana Alekseyevna Shurupova, or simply Tanya, is a mechanic at Hyperborea. She often appears very relaxed and carefree, although that might simply be because she's almost always drunk.

Tanya is a very skilled mechanic with a degree in engineering. However, her problems with alcohol would inevitably get her fired from most places, causing her to drink even more. Eventually she was offered a job at Hyperborea because of her skills, where she's allowed to be as drunk and creative as she wants, as long as she builds their crazy designs.

Tanya is Ivan's long-time friend and drinking buddy. However, whenever she gets too drunk she inevitably gets sexual with him, which caused Ivan's past girlfriends to break up with him.
